 The
Precinct Four Training Division is responsible for the continuing
education of sworn deputies. The curriculum is constantly changed to
reflect mandated State guidelines in addition to other courses designed
for officer safety. Classes are offered to not only the Precinct Four
Deputies, but to officers from neighboring agencies as well. Outside
agency personnel wishing to attend a class will need to fill out the
training request and fax it to the training division. We also offer a
Citizens Police Academy, Rape Aggression Defense for women and
Resisting Aggression Defensively training for kids all targeted at
helping the community. We now have a firearms computer simulator called
Lasershot.
