 The Precinct Four Training Division is
responsible for the
continuing education of sworn deputies. The curriculum is
constantly changed to reflect mandated State guidelines in
addition to popular courses. Classes are offered to not only the
Precinct Four Deputies, but to officers from neighboring
agencies. A correspondence course curriculum has also been
implemented, to assist deputies in resolving training schedule
confiicts. Precinct 4 also has recently acquired a complete
training system based around computer simulations called the
Range 2000. We also offer a Citizens Police Academy and other
training targeted at helping the community.
